As CEO of Alexandria Extrusion Company, It's an honor and a privilege to welcome you to our web site. Web sites are a great vehicle for first impressions but I would encourage you to get to know our employees because we are "people making a difference". With our staff of certified aluminum extruders, CNC programmers, and degreed machinists, we have the skills and the tools to serve you best.

"People Making A Difference" is not just a tag line, but also a responsibility that all employees of Alexandria Extrusion Company (AEC) practice each and every day. We offer in-depth training of business related topics to all of our employees to bolster their knowledge and personal growth. AEC has become a community leader through our fundraising and support of charitable organizations as well as the time given back to the community by our employees. Workplace ministry and an active prayer chain are an important support link for our employees, their families and our business associates.
Creating Value
You will find that our diverse offering of manufacturing processes and value-added services are second to none. We have been in business since 1966 with our first customer being IBM. Soon after that we started adding value, machining, fabrication, anodizing and assembly to our aluminum extrusions. I think you will find that Alexandria Extrusion Company employees have a great depth of knowledge, providing innovative and customer-focused solutions every day. Our customers typically see the greatest value in allowing us to become involved early in the product design process. The further we can take their project to completion, the higher our value to our customer.
Process Proven Results
We are a company that is driven by data and we strive for continuous improvement. This is exemplified by some of the tools we use including the Minnesota Council for Quality Award of which we are a two-time winner. This award uses the same criteria as the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. AEC is ISO 9001 registered and we were the first aluminum extruder to register to the 2000 revision of the standard. Since 2002, we have integrated Quick Response Manufacturing principles into every facet of our operations, providing the shortest lead-times achievable in today's fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment.
