Alexandria Extrusion Company Acquires Doege Precision Machining, Inc.
Alexandria, MN – September 9, 2008 - Alexandria Extrusion Company (AEC) and Doege Precision Machining, Inc. have signed an agreement for Alexandria Extrusion Company to acquire Doege Precision Machining, Inc., a leading provider of precision machined, ferrous and non-ferrous components. The board of directors and executive staff of AEC are pleased to announce this acquisition. “This purchase provides exciting opportunities for AEC to offer additional products and services to its customers, subsidiaries and manufacturing alliance partners,” stated AEC’s CEO, Tom Schabel. Through this acquisition, Doege Precision Machining, Inc. will retain its name and operate as a stand-alone precision manufacturer to its long term customer base. Doege’s customers will also benefit from the additional products and services available as a result of this acquisition. Doege’s owner, Sandy Doege, will be retiring while Ben Doege, Chris Doege, Nathan Doege, and Pat Doege will remain involved in the business.
