Al Sholts Al Sholts joined Alexandria Extrusion Company in 1977 as a machinist. He graduated from Alexandria Technical Sholts currently sits on the Alexandria Technical College Foundation board and has been involved in many advisory committees for the machine tool program at the college. College with a degree in machine tool technology in 1979 and gained experience in quality control, tooling and CNC applications. Sholts has held management positions in the company for the past 19 years including machine shop manager, value added operations manager, and Vice President of manufacturing. In 2006 Sholts was named Chief Operating Officer with oversight of sales, engineering and manufacturing.
