NAME: Jon Trenne POSITION: Sales Specialist BACKGROUND: Jon Trenne provides an example of how employee commitment truly is defined, with 29 years of solid experience at Alexandria Extrusion Company. After earning a BA degree at St. Cloud State University, Trenne began his career in the extrusion operations area and in 1989 was promoted to the Estimating department. In 1995 Trenne moved into a Technical Sales position supporting AEC’s customers in Southeast Asia. Since 2000 Trenne has partnered with customers both large and small and focuses on providing solutions for Minnesota companies and others in the five surrounding states as a geographical salesperson. EXPERTISE: Trenne’s well-rounded expertise in production, estimating, and sales enables him to recognize appropriate applications and implement the steps necessary to complete a successful project. In addition to attending several conferences hosted by the Extrusion Technology Foundation, Trenne has published and presented AEC’s extrusion seminar to many customers.
