NAME: Scott Jones POSITION: Filtration Sales Specialist BACKGROUND: Joined Alexandria Extrusion Company in 2005 with more than 20 years experience concentrated in precision machining environments. His diverse background includes CNC lathes and mills, programming, fixture building, estimating, purchasing, tooling sales, applications and management. Jones’ passion for manufacturing began in high school in an advanced machine shop program and he pursued his passion, coupled with more education, by graduating from a machine trades program at Staples Technical College in Minnesota. Jones has been actively involved with developing long-term manufacturing solutions with a variety of companies including the “big three” automakers as well as with other large and challenging clients. He understands the distinct advantages of using aluminu EXPERTISE: Firm knowledge and experience in value-added manufacturing and cost-effective solutions in the manufacturing process. Concentrates on providing well-engineered components so clients can stay competitive.
